Purbasa & Nava first met in 2014, not long after she had moved to the SF Bay Area from the midwest. They went on their first date at the Punchline comedy club, and for six months, developed their relationship and enjoyed their time together in the Bay Area — stargazing at Ed Levine County Park, traveling, trying new restaurants, and cooking together. Vivian and Bin were here in San Francisco for their Christmas vacation and wanted some wedding portraits done in the city. You probably wouldn’t believe me if I tell you it was drizzling the whole time during our photo shoot, but their photos turned out gorgeous! The clouds made a perfect backdrop for their outdoor portraits, and of course, San Francisco City Hall is always beautiful no matter the weather. I had SUCH a fun session with Christian and Sonia! We met at the Bi-Rite Creamery and got some ice cream to kick off the fun. We then walked to Dolores Park where there must have been a thousand people crowded under the warm sunlight. We took a detour (ahem!) across a fence, and found a perfect spot in a quiet section with just the three of us. Perfect time for some champagne! A beautiful couple who is both deeply in love and also willing to try anything in front of our cameras + a little creativity from us = an oh so romantic session! David and I loved this shoot and every single one of their photos.

We walked around Crissy Field, drove around the City of San Francisco, hiked up some stairs to the Coit Tower, and ran across some busy streets — and it was all worth it in the end.
