Wedding Photographers
As wedding photographers, we know there are so many big moments to document throughout your wedding day. The bride with her bridesmaids, the groom with his groomsmen, the couple with their families, the wedding bands, the bouquets, the first dance, the cake… the kiss! But do you know which photos our couples end up loving the most?
It’s the photos that capture the little moments in between.
The moment your father’s eyes well up as he watches you say “I do.” The expression on your face the first time you look at your husband and think to yourself: “This is real!”
Even the “I probably shouldn’t have said that” cringe on the best man’s face after he realizes the “Remember that Amsterdam trip…” anecdote was a bit out of place, to say the least.
We’re Annie and David, and for us, weddings are all about moments and feelings. We work best with couples who deeply love and care for each other, are down-to-earth and like to have fun, and who wish to look back on their laughter and happy tears with amazement (despite the moans and groans from children and grandchildren) for years and years to come.

Jessica & Mike's Saratoga Springs Wedding
I think I can summarize Jessica & Mike’s wedding with one short story: After I finished with the girls’ getting ready photos, I told David “I’ve been laughing so hard that my cheeks hurt!” — and David replied, “same with me and the guys!” Like our bride & groom, the entire wedding party was a super fun group that we just couldn’t help but fall in love with. We loved seeing all the guests, and even the kids, having a blast.
Their venue, Saratoga Springs, was beautifully located in the woods under a big arch bridge, and Jessica & Mike added a lot of details and decor and some absolutely gorgeous floral pieces to tie everything together. The wedding had a lot of unique things we enjoyed, like dancing on the lawn, a ribbon toss (instead of a garter… and by the way, we’ve never seen anyone so happy to catch it!), vows written by the bridesmaids, and of course the unrestrained cupcake face smash. Check out their photos below!
Lauren & Rob's Purple Orchid Resort and Spa Wedding
It’s not every day you hear a couple say “we met on Craigslist” when you ask them how they met, but it’s also not every day you meet this quirky and fun-loving couple, Lauren & Rob, for whom we had the pleasure of photographing for their engagement photos and on their wedding day at Purple Orchid Wine Country Resort & Spa.
While every couple has their own beautiful love story, this pair’s is definitely one for the books! I don’t think I need to repeat the story of the moving truck yet again, but anyway, when they finally tied the knot five years after the start of their roomanticship, everyone couldn’t help but shed a few tears at the wonderful union these two lovebirds were able to create over the years. Lauren and Rob’s wedding was filled with so much laughter, entertainment, and tears of joy!
Their friend and officiant Carlos was such a character, and he filled the ceremony with an air of love and celebration of the couple’s journey together. Fast-forwarding to the reception, many great toasts were given, and one in particular really stood out to me: Tim, Rob’s brother and best man, shared his accounts of the couple’s adventures together with an incredibly hilarious yet totally heartwarming toast. I spent ten minutes not knowing whether to laugh or cry! (Spoiler: I ended up taking photos instead.)
The rustic wedding theme, with the tagline “To the Moon and Back,” was absolutely perfect for the couple as they danced and laughed under the full moon and stars that evening. From what we’ve seen of the pair, we think their love will reach well beyond that! We’re so excited to see the places they’ll go and the things they’ll do whether it’s going on walks or traveling the world hand-in-hand! Congratulations again to Lauren & Rob, and may your love fill the sky!
Louisa and Billy first met through OKCupid and quickly fell in love. They had a 97% match rating which sounds crazy high, but after seeing how full of joy they were on their wedding day, I’m surprised it’s not even higher! Last summer, after backpacking the John Muir Trail together and even climbing Mt. Whitney, they decided to get married.
Their wedding day was an ultra romantic one filled with love and happiness, and it started in two beautiful vacation homes at Point Reyes Station where they got into their wedding attire. I swooned over Louisa’s bridal look — her sheath wedding gown and the stunning chapel length veil gave her an elegance that we (and Billy) will never forget!! L&B exchanged their vows and received many blessings in front of the Giacomini Barn, then here — the highlight of the day — they had a wedding parade! Billy and Louisa led the way singing “I Would Walk 500 Miles” while walking across the little town from their ceremony site to Toby’s Feed Barn. Guitars, accordions, laughter, and singing, it was PERFECTION!!!
Before the reception started, we went back to the ceremony site to take some portraits by the barn. With clouds hovering over the mountains, Louisa’s veil rolling with the wind, and their well-behaved pup Olive posing adorably, we couldn’t have asked for more. The romantic vibe in their photos was just unreal, and we captured so many great candid moments between them two. Meanwhile, their family & friends were enjoying oysters at the cocktail hour — just like Louisa & Billy did at Hog Island Oysters at Tomales Bay for their first date. And the reception was a blast! Thoughtfully-written toasts, happy guests dancing under paper lanterns, well-chosen floral decorations, and an oddly pleasing fresh hay smell… everything was so great and the photos tell it all!
Congratulations Billy and Louisa! Can’t wait to share your beautiful photos with everyone 😀
