Our featured couple this week is Sarah & Jonathan. After getting ready separately early in the day, they had a cute first look in front of Tower Hall, on the San Jose State University campus where they first met. We then went over to the San Jose Woman’s Club where their family & friends were gathered for their ceremony. In between all the weddings and proposals during this busy summer, it’s nice to have a change of pace shooting fun photos with an adorable baby! For baby Aasmi’s first birthday, her parents set up a picnic complete with cute pastel-colored props and a beautiful cake for her to dig into, and she had lots of fun with it 🙂 Happy birthday Aasmi!

Simran had been planning his romantic Labor Day weekend suprise to his girlfriend Amita for more than a month, and contacted us after deciding on the San Jose Rose Garden. The Rose Garden is really great this time of year, as it’s covered with flowers of all colors in full bloom. The couple strolled through the garden taking lots of flower photos (Amita had actually gotten a new camera!) while we followed loosely behind. When the time came, under the soft sunset light, Simran got down on his knee and popped the question! Congrats you two — you’re too cute!

Meet four-day-old Maximus — Xavier’s new little brother! It’s been a pleasure documenting Ruth’s family every few months for the past two years. I was so happy to meet this little guy and as you can see, so was his big brother!!

Eric’s mother was in town, so the family and I met up again in San Jose and had a family shoot at Doerr Park. Lillian is now 20 months old! She’s grown up so much since I last met her for her cake smash photo shoot! She’s such an adorable independent little lady – loves to run around, especially away from us, making that cute “come catch me!” face. Can’t wait to see you guys next year 😀
