Mike & Katie traveled from out of state to visit San Francisco this month, and Mike had the perfect proposal lined up. On a weekday morning about a week ago, the two walked along the Embarcadero onto Pier 7. About halfway down the pier, Mike popped the big question, and we were so lucky to have been witnesses to this amazing proposal. I could feel Katie just bursting with joy as she literally jumped up and down shouting “YES!!!” and hugged her fiance. In between all our late-summer weddings and surprise proposals, we had the pleasure of hanging out with Renate and Keith’s family at the beautiful Montara State Beach. Back in the spring, we had donated a family photo session to the Ocean Shore School here in Pacifica for their fundraising auction, and this sweet family won our photo session. Meet four-day-old Maximus — Xavier’s new little brother! It’s been a pleasure documenting Ruth’s family every few months for the past two years. I was so happy to meet this little guy and as you can see, so was his big brother!!

Baby Meera is six months old! I took photos of her and the family around the house and wow! Vaishnavi and Prashanth have a beautiful house with amazing indoor lighting! Meera is surrounded by so much love and it makes her a really happy baby 🙂 So many smiles in the photos thanks to Prashanth, who kept making silly faces and doing silly dances and it totally worked!

JD and Becky flew in from Alabama, and he wanted to give her a sweet surprise in San Francisco: asking her to be his lifetime partner! JD’s parents live in Sacramento and drove to the city to witness this moment, hiding out and waiting in the back corner of a parking lot while the couple walked along Crissy Field.
