Sara and Michael held their beautiful backyard wedding at Sara’s mom’s lovely house in South San Francisco. I can’t think of a more meaningful way for the couple to celebrate their memorable day than to be surrounded by all their close friends and family in the home where the bride grew up. You’ll have to see it to believe it — with the help of family and friends, they turned their humble abode into a romantic and stunning wedding venue! The colorful floral arrangements, the amazing assorted cakes(!!!), the handwritten wedding signs, and the romantic twinkle cafe lights all came together to make this wedding special and FULL of love! And beyond that, what made this wedding truly unique were the personal touches: the wedding rings, handcrafted by Michael’s father with a diamond passed down through the family; the surprise musical performance by the family; and even Michael’s great Darth Vader Star Wars tie! We strolled around Baker Beach for some fun photo time with Doug, Liz, and their handsome Corgi mix, Tank. Doug and Liz are an outdoorsy couple who love craft beer, so for their engagement session, we photographed them sitting on the beach watching the sunset, drinking their beloved craft beer in front of the Golden Gate Bridge, and running around playing with Tank! Have you ever met a couple for the first time yet felt that they were your longtime friends? Meet Kim and Brandon! They were madly in love and super laid-back and fun. And on top of all that, Kim is a singer and song writer (anyone who knows me would know how important singing is to me)! When Kim sang the song called “Feels Like Home” for Brandon during their ceremony, it touched my heart and I teared up. Her voice was beautiful!! Kim and Brandon made a lot of the wedding details themselves and we loved the Western-themed details throughout the whole wedding.
