Slackers Hill is the tallest hill in the Marin Headlands facing the Golden Gate Bridge from the north, and consequently has an absolutely spectacular view of the entire area, including nearly the entire city of San Francisco, along with the Bay Bridge, Oakland, and parts of Sausalito. Its peak (elevation ~930 feet) has a small, flat plateau featuring amazing sights in every direction.

This is a place I’ve personally always wanted to visit, so even though I was supposed to be taking a break from work this December, when Jordan contacted me to capture his surprise engagement proposal there I knew I had to make it work. [ read more … ]

Chung and Justin first met after running the Giants half-marathon. Although she describes it as “totally crazy,” it apparently was just sane enough to kick off a beautiful relationship. From start to finish, Hayley & Joey’s wedding was full of fun and laughter. Before their ceremony, we coordinated a first look at the nearby Presidio Chapel, in front of its grand doors. There were a lot of cute moments at the first look, including the amusing line “hold me like you love me, not like you’re strangling me!” which still comes to my mind whenever I see the first photo below, followed by some portraits of the bride & groom and the wedding party.
